Each line of data – from personal demographics to coverage selections – forms the backbone of our operational excellence. Errors or delays can ripple into billing discrepancies, coverage gaps, and dissatisfied members. As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist , you will be the gatekeeper of this critical information, ensuring that every entry is exact, complete, and securely stored. Beyond the numbers, your work directly supports our members’ peace of mind. By maintaining flawless records, you enable Skillastra’s enrollment team to process applications swiftly, answer member questions confidently, and uphold the trust that policyholders place in us during one of the most important decisions of their lives. Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day Data Capture & Verification Enter enrollment data—including personal details, plan selections, dependents, and payment preferences—into Nexora’s secure enrollment platform with 99.9% accuracy. Cross‑check source documents (paper forms, PDFs, electronic submissions) against entered data to confirm completeness and correctness. Apply established data‑entry standards, formatting rules, and validation scripts to minimize manual errors. Escalate any inconsistencies or missing information to the enrollment specialists for timely resolution. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement Perform routine data quality audits, sampling records to detect and correct entry errors, duplicate records, or formatting issues. Document recurring data‑entry challenges and propose process enhancements to the operations team. Collaborate with IT and system administrators to troubleshoot data‑mapping problems and implement corrective measures. Document Management & Confidentiality Organize both physical and electronic enrollment documents in accordance with arenaxflex’s records‑management policy. Maintain an orderly filing system that enables rapid retrieval of enrollment files for audits, compliance reviews, or member inquiries. Uphold strict confidentiality standards, adhering to HIPAA, state privacy laws, and Taskium’s internal data‑protection protocols. Timely Completion & Workflow Prioritization Meet daily and weekly data‑entry targets, ensuring that enrollment batches are processed before system cut‑off times. Prioritize high‑volume or time‑sensitive submissions, balancing speed with attention to detail. Communicate any potential backlog, system downtime, or personal capacity concerns to your supervisor promptly. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with enrollment specialists, customer‑service representatives, and underwriting teams to resolve data‑related questions. Provide clear status updates on outstanding items, data‑quality issues, and completed work through Worklith’s ticketing and reporting tools. Participate in daily huddles and weekly performance reviews to align with team goals and share best practices. Essential Qualifications – What You Must Bring Education: High school diploma or GED; additional certifications in data entry, health information management, or related fields are advantageous. Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional data‑entry experience, preferably within a healthcare, insurance, or financial services environment. Accuracy: Demonstrated ability to achieve and sustain a 99%+ error‑free rate while handling high‑volume data input. Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating Windows or macOS environments, using Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and learning proprietary enrollment software.
