This remote Quality Assurance (QA) position offers flexibility, a competitive salary, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on product safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across our extensive production network.Position Overview – Remote Quality Assurance ManagerWe are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance professional to join our global QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the quality and safety of our beverage products from concept through shelf life, ensuring compliance with internal standards, USDA, FDA, ISO, and environmental health & safety (EHS) regulations. While the role is fully remote, it requires up to 80 % travel to manufacturing plants, bottling facilities, and research labs to perform audits, lead investigations, and partner with cross‑functional teams.As a core member of our QA leadership, you will work closely with Research & Development (R&D), Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercialization teams, translating scientific insights into practical, risk‑based solutions that drive product excellence and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Quality Management• Lead and execute systematic, risk‑based audits of packaging, production, and supply‑chain processes to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and sustainability standards.• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve QA policies, SOPs, and work instructions aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001/18001, and NEBOSH guidelines.• Identify, document, and mitigate non‑conformances, driving corrective‑and‑preventive actions (CAPA) that reduce risk and improve product integrity.• Translate audit findings into actionable improvement plans that enhance the overall Quality Management System (QMS).Cross‑Functional Collaboration• Partner with R&D to embed quality considerations early in product design, reducing time‑to‑market and minimizing redesign cycles.• Facilitate seamless communication between bottling partners, senior leadership, and operational teams regarding quality risks and mitigation strategies.• Coordinate with Supply Chain to validate raw‑material specifications, concentrate handling, and finished‑good testing protocols.• Lead interdisciplinary project teams to resolve complex quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and knowledge transfer.Data‑Driven Decision Making• Leverage SAP, PICASSO, and Clarity data platforms to capture, analyze, and report key quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, EHS incidents, KPI dashboards).• Utilize statistical tools and Six Sigma Green Belt methodologies to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.• Prepare comprehensive audit reports, executive summaries, and actionable recommendations for senior management.Regulatory Compliance & Safety Leadership• Ensure ongoing compliance with OSHA, FDA, USDA, and local regulatory requirements across all operational sites.• Drive implementation of environmental and workplace safety programs, including ISO 14000/18000 and EOSH initiatives.• Maintain NEBOSH certification standards and promote a culture of safety through training and awareness campaigns.Essential Qualifications• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. (Master’s preferred but not mandatory.)• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Quality Assurance or a comparable role within the food & beverage industry, with at least 3 years focused on manufacturing and concentrate production processes.• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP, PICASSO, and Clarity reporting tools; solid understanding of OSHA regulations and safe manufacturing practices.• Certifications (Required/Preferred): NEBOSH certification (or equivalent), Six Sigma Green Belt, ISO 9001 auditor qualification.• Travel Availability: Willingness and ability to travel up to 80 % of the time to domestic plants and facilities.• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical data to non‑technical stakeholders.• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence cross‑functional teams, manage projects, and drive cultural change toward quality excellence.Preferred Qualifications & Additional Attributes• Master’s degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.• Experience with product l Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
