Responsibilities

The Senior Art Director – Brand serves as a driving force behind the creation and implementation of integrated, impactful campaigns. This role requires an individual who combines strategic vision with a hands-on, energetic approach to creative challenges. Success in this position hinges on the ability to seamlessly juggle several projects at once, consistently managing priorities while producing polished, high-quality work under tight deadlines. A sharp eye for design detail, unwavering accuracy, and a commitment to excellence from initial concept through to final production are all vital attributes. The ideal candidate is someone who finds inspiration in crafting bold, original ideas and is equally passionate about rolling up their sleeves to transform those concepts into reality. Experience within B2B or technology-focused environments is a plus. Qualifications

• 7 years of relevant experience in design, advertising, or a related industry.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• An established portfolio of elevated design concepts demonstrating expertise in a range of creative mediums and large integrated campaigns.
• Previous experience in digital, video, rich media, motion, photography art direction, emerging media, and other creative and communications disciplines required, including audio/sound.
• Agency experience strongly preferred.

Senior Art Director - Brand should be a strategic thinker, and capable doer. Must be self-motivated and adept at managing their own workload. Must be able to advance multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within the designated timelines, while maintaining high standards for execution, accuracy, and attention to detail. This role will be a hands-on, working creative contributing to many different portfolios and service lines, plus occasionally providing oversight to external agency partners. Must be able to present and share best practices. Should be comfortable working within established brand guidelines while continuing to find new and interesting ways to express the brand within those guidelines. Must understand and defend the importance of brand consistency. Requires a driven work ethic, a responsibility to the brand, and a desire to contribute to the collaborative culture at Mayo Clinic. Must have a passion for creative innovation, and a demonstrated ability to drive new ideas and bring in new concepts or methodologies and/or efficiencies. The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

• proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in Figma
• Experience with project-management platforms, including Workfront
• Familiarity with visual AI tools such as Firefly, ChatGPT and/or other LLMs.

Compensation

Detail $100,339.20 - $140,462.40/ year. Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
