Procurement Contract Compliance Specialist

Immediate need for a talented Procurement Contract Compliance Specialist. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in U.S(Remote). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location). Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Compliance Coordination
  • Coordinate the execution of product attachments and related compliance requirements before procurement awards business to vendors
  • Monitor contract request submissions to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing
  • Contract Standards Management
  • Support the management and maintenance of procurement contracting standards including Contract templates, Playbooks, Clause libraries, Checklists and Policies and procedures
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Assist with compliance data analysis and reporting for procurement initiatives, projects, and standards
  • Track progress on compliance pilots and improvement initiatives
  • Contract Compliance Support
  • Serve as a junior subject matter resource for vendor contracting standards and compliance requirements
  • Identify inefficiencies and assist with process improvements
  • Provide training or guidance to team members on compliance requirements and standards
  • Documentation & Recordkeeping
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of contract compliance activities and projects
  • Update contract management systems and track approvals in accordance with company policies
  • Issue Resolution
  • Address and resolve vendor or internal stakeholder questions regarding contract compliance requirements in a timely manner
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal departments including Legal, Compliance, Business stakeholders and Procurement teams
  • Assist in interpreting and implementing compliance standards across vendor contracts
  • Stakeholder Support
  • Provide high-quality customer service to internal stakeholders during the contracting process
  • Respond to requests in alignment with procurement service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Communicate contract status updates clearly and professionally

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills; Must have experience with Contract drafting and redlining
  • Must have experience with Procurement & Vendor Contract Compliance
  • Healthcare or managed care compliance/regulatory environment
  • General understanding of procurement concepts and processes
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • 1-3 years of experience reviewing complex legal or commercial contract terms and identifying potential risks
  • 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Compliance or regulatory work in healthcare or managed care environments
  • Government procurement and subcontractor flow-down requirements
  • Drafting contract templates, terms and conditions, or improving contracting processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Training or presentation experience
  • Knowledge of government procurement standards such as FAR or DFAR
  • Experience with contract lifecycle or ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Coupa, Other contract management tools.
