Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for various categories of goods and services.
- Manage the full lifecycle of the procurement process, including RFI/RFP creation, bid analysis, and vendor selection.
- Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and mitigate risks.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers and opportunities for innovation.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and operational teams to ensure procurement activities align with company policies and regulations.
- Implement and optimize procurement systems and tools to improve efficiency and reporting.
- Proactively identify and address potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on procurement metrics, savings, and vendor performance. Required Skills
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing.
- Proven track record of successful negotiation and contract management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
- Demonstrated understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as SCMP, CPSM, C.P.M., or equivalent.
- Experience with international procurement and global supply chains.
- Familiarity with e-procurement platforms and digital transformation initiatives.
