Clinical Informatics Specialist

Job Summary Summary Responsible for the management and utilization of information technology systems and data in clinical settings. This role plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between healthcare providers and technology by implementing and optimizing systems that enhance patient care and outcomes. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions -Collaborates with healthcare teams to assess their needs, evaluate existing systems, and implement new clinical informatics solutions. -Continuously monitors and analyzes the performance of clinical information systems to identify areas for improvement. -Develops and delivers training programs to healthcare professionals on the effective use of clinical informatics tools and technologies. -Stays abreast of industry regulations and guidelines related to clinical informatics, privacy, and security. -Leads clinical informatics projects, including system upgrades, data migrations, and the implementation of new technologies. -Provides technical support to end-users, including clinicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. -Collaborates with healthcare professionals, IT staff, administrators, and vendors to ensure effective communication and coordination. -Collects and analyzes clinical data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for quality improvement.
Qualifications
