100% Remote Full-time Open now

About the position Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way. The Community You Will Join: The Revenue Forecasting team plays a central role in shaping Airbnb’s financial outlook by accurately forecasting global topline revenue and leading the company’s revenue planning process. We develop rigorous forecasts anchored in key business drivers, support company-wide reporting, and provide analytical guidance for strategic and operational decisions. In this role, you will partner with the business on growth, analytics, and strategy for Core Stays, collaborating closely with Finance and Data Science stakeholders to strengthen our forecasting processes and overall financial planning. In addition, you will support the Revenue Forecasting team during annual planning, long range planning, quarterly earnings, and monthly forecasting and reporting cycles. The Difference You Will Make: We are seeking a proactive individual who is excited to develop data-backed solutions that advance our revenue planning capabilities. This role will focus on Excel modeling, process enhancement, automation of data workflows, and building high-quality executive presentations. We’re looking for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, someone who can quickly understand the drivers of a rapidly growing business and communicate complex insights clearly to senior leaders, including Airbnb’s CFO and CBO.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Policy, Treasury, and Payments, to assess and quantify key risks and opportunities across the business.
  • Develop and maintain reporting that defines, tracks, and monitors performance of forecasted metrics at a country-level granularity.
  • Create presentations in Google Slides to communicate key trends and forecast performance, demonstrating strong judgment in identifying what matters and a willingness to dig into root causes.
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial review cycles, ensuring high-quality analysis and timely deliverables.
  • Deliver actionable insights through reporting and analytics, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance processes for greater accuracy, efficiency, speed, and accessibility.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in strategic finance, product analytics, business intelligence, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • B.A. or B.S. from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and ability to perform complex analyses to uncover business drivers and generate insights. Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write, optimize, and interpret complex queries.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization and make actionable recommendations.
  • Strong presentation and collaboration tools experience, including G Suite and Keynote.
  • Highly organized, independent, and self-motivated; commitment to delivering consistently accurate and high-quality work products.
  • Mission-driven, enthusiastic to learn and grow within the SFA organization; team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Tableau and proficiency in Python or R is a significant plus.

Benefits

  • This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
