- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts and requesting assistance from clinical staff and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of corridors, waiting areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
- Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and help to maintain orderly movement through public and restricted areas.
- Document patrols, incidents, and daily activity in written reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
