Job title: Learning Center Tutor Company: Lake County Schools Job description: Adlai E. Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL) is seeking a full-time 10-Month Mathematics Learning Center Tutor for the 2023-2024 school year. Description: The Mathematics Tutor is an in person position that will provide support either in person and/or virtually. Provide instructional support to students in mathematics, particularly in Algebra, Geometry and all levels of Calculus. Work collaboratively with math teams in supporting and documenting student progress. Hours: 7:30-4pm Qualifications: Qualifications are as follows but not limited to: ISBE licensure required. Must have a Para Professional License (PARA), Substitute License (SUB) or a Professional Educator License (PEL). PEL with mathematics endorsement is preferred. Strong Calculus skills are a plus. Strong communication skills to create meaningful connections with students and faculty required.
