Job Summary

As a Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our stores, while also providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers. You'll work closely with our Loss Prevention team to identify and prevent shoplifting, as well as collaborate with our customer service team to resolve customer complaints and concerns. Key Responsibilities

* Monitor store areas to prevent and detect shoplifting, and report any incidents to the Loss Prevention team

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our valued customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns
  • Collaborate with the Loss Prevention team to identify and prevent shoplifting, and participate in investigations and audits as needed
  • Work closely with the customer service team to resolve customer complaints and concerns, and provide solutions to improve customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of store policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or loss prevention role, preferably in the retail industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly and safely around the store

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a loss prevention or customer service role

  • Knowledge of retail security procedures and protocols, including CCTV systems and alarm systems
  • Familiarity with customer service software and systems, including point-of-sale systems and customer relationship management software
  • Certification in loss prevention or a related field, such as the Certified Loss Prevention Associate (CLPA) or the Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in multiple languages
