Job Summary JOB DESCRIPTION Manages a CSX Minerals account portfolio of approximately $280 million, primarily focused on Aggregates accounts.Primary Activities And Responsibilities
- Design, market, sell and manage CSX Transportation (CSXT) services to several Aggregates accounts in the southeast.
- Negotiate and close large, complex commercial proposals in conjunction with all relevant CSX groups including Marketing, Service Design, Operations, Customer Service, Industrial Development, etc.
- Create and execute strategic account plans for customers.
- Lead and strengthen business relationships within CSXT and customer organizations while pushing each for improved performance or increased business levels.
- Lead and develop improved service plans with customer and appropriate CSX groups, including Service Design, Operations, and Customer Service.
- Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager
- Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
- 5 or more years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business/Strategic Management, Sales, Account Management, Marketing, or Finance
- Graduate Degree
- 7 or more years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business/Strategic Management, Sales, Account Management, Marketing, or Finance
