Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in West Caldwell, NJ. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You'll work closely with our team to provide timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer calls, emails, and messages in a timely and professional manner

  • Resolve customer issues and complaints in a fair and efficient manner
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information on appliance repair, maintenance, and sales
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and issues
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills and knowledge
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the Appliance Service industry

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication
  • Basic computer skills, with experience using CRM software and other customer service tools
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a Whirlpool Factory Authorized service center or similar environment

  • Knowledge of appliance repair, maintenance, and sales principles
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g. Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
  • Experience using customer service software and tools, such as CRM systems and ticketing systems
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers in multiple languages
