Experienced Customer Service Representative – Transforming Healthcare through Compassionate Support

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in a fully remote position within the eastern time zone. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of arenaflex, providing exceptional support to our members, providers, physicians, and hospitals. You will be responsible for creating simplicity by effectively using knowledge of plans, products, procedures, and systems to provide information and resolve issues, resulting in enhanced customer satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, or chat, ensuring that every interaction is courteous, empathetic, and professional. - Utilize knowledge of plans, products, procedures, and systems to provide accurate information and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner. - Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless customer experience. - Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions. - Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and product knowledge to provide informed support. - Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Training and Schedule

- Training will be conducted virtually, with a 9-week Benefit & Eligibility training period (Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, with no PTO). - After completing the initial training, you will be scheduled to work a permanent schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:10 am to 4:40 pm.

Requirements

- 1+ year of experience in a production environment, preferably in a customer-facing role. - Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to empathize with customers' needs and concerns. - Proficiency in computer navigation and typing skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment. - High school diploma or equivalent required; education in a related field is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a call center or retail environment, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service. - Strong knowledge of healthcare plans, products, and procedures. - Certification in customer service or a related field.

Skills and Competencies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
