What You'll Do As a Volunteer Virtual Livestream Event Moderator, you'll play a crucial role in engaging viewers, facilitating meaningful discussions, and ensuring smooth communication during livestreamed sessions. Your responsibilities will include:

Audience Engagement

• Welcome and energize the virtual audience during live sessions, creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere. • Monitor and interact with audience comments in the chat, responding to questions and keeping the energy upbeat. • Share event updates, encourage participation, and maintain a positive, inclusive environment that fosters a sense of community.

Live Session Moderation

• Host and moderate livestreamed conversations, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions with performers and speakers, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for all participants. • Guide one-on-one conversations between audience members and featured guests, providing a safe and supportive space for meaningful dialogue. • Manage timing and transitions between segments to keep the event on schedule, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees. • Work with the production team to troubleshoot any live communication issues, ensuring that the event runs smoothly and without technical hiccups.

Community Building

• Foster a welcoming and supportive virtual space where everyone feels included, valued, and respected. • Help amplify the festival's themes of self-love and resilience by encouraging meaningful dialogue and creating a sense of community among attendees.
