Title: Enterprise Architect Location: Morris Plains, NJ (Hybrid) "The client is looking for a senior Manufacturing-focused Enterprise Architect who can own and govern the end-to-end IT/OT architecture, align technology strategy with business outcomes, and lead ERP, MES, data, cloud, and cybersecurity transformation across global plants." Description: POSITION OVERVIEW : We are seeking an Enterprise Architect (EA) to own and evolve our end-to-end manufacturing IT landscape, aligning technology strategy to business outcomes across plants, supply chain, engineering, and commercial. You will shape target-state architecture, guide major programs (ERP modernization, MES/SCADA standardization, data/AI, IIoT, cybersecurity), govern solution design across domains, and ensure resilient, compliant, and cost-effective operations. This role sits at the intersection of business architecture, information/data, application, integration, infrastructure/cloud, and security, with a strong emphasis on OT/IT convergence and manufacturing execution. POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS : 21236210 We are seeking an Enterprise Architect (EA) to own and evolve our end-to-end manufacturing IT landscape, aligning technology strategy to business outcomes across plants, supply chain, engineering, and commercial. You will shape target-state architecture, guide major programs (ERP modernization, MES/SCADA standardization, data/AI, IIoT, cybersecurity), govern solution design across domains, and ensure resilient, compliant, and cost-effective operations. This role sits at the intersection of business architecture, information/data, application, integration, infrastructure/cloud, and security, with a strong emphasis on OT/IT convergence and manufacturing execution. Key Responsibilities: - Define, implement and maintain the target architecture (3 5 year horizon) covering ERP, IIoT platforms, data mesh/lakehouse/ETL, and edge-to-cloud infrastructure. - Chair the Architecture Review Board (ARB) for manufacturing-aligned initiatives; approve or remediate designs. - Partner with Product/Program Owners to de-risk delivery for ERP modernization (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, Dynamics), and plant network segmentation. - Establish standards and guardrails for integration, and cloud/on-prem/edge patterns. - Define NFRs (availability, recoverability, latency, security, compliance, interoperability) and ensure they are engineered into solutions and SLAs. - Collaborate with global team on network segmentation, asset inventory, patching windows, backup/restore, and change control for production-critical systems. - Partner with Data/AI leads to define data domains, MDM, and pipelines from shop floor to cloud. - Enable real-time analytics (dashboards, anomaly detection, energy monitoring), predictive maintenance, and computer vision use cases. - Embed security-by-design across the stack (Zero Trust, identity, segmentation, encryption, secrets, secure SDLC). - Ensure compliance with cyber security requirements. Minimum Qualifications: - 10+ years in enterprise/solution architecture, with 7+ years in manufacturing IT/OT environments. - 10+ years of experience experience in SQL, Snowflake and Informatica PowerCenter / IICS ETL tools. - 10+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - 10+ years of experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modelling. - 10+ years of experience in security architecture, especially ISA/IEC 62443 for industrial control systems and Zero Trust. - 10+ years of experience cloud proficiency (Azure/AWS/GCP), hybrid/edge patterns, and network fundamentals (segmentation, SD-WAN). - 10+ years of hands on experience in integration patterns (APIs, EDI, message queues, event streams, OPC UA, MQTT), data - 8+ years of strong knowledge of Snowflake s features and capabilities. platforms (lake/lakehouse, streaming), and edge computing. - Demonstrated leadership in architecture governance, roadmaps, and influencing cross-functional leaders (IT, OT, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Finance). Preferred Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience with S/4HANA transformations, global MES standardization, or greenfield brownfield plant rollouts. - 10+ years of experience with PLM/ALM and digital thread; EAM/CMMS (Maximo/Infor/SAP PM). - 8+ years of experience with Industry 4.0 platforms (e.g., PTC, Siemens, Rockwell, Ignition, AVEVA) and IIoT. - Certifications: TOGAF / SAFe Architect / Azure/AWS Architect / CISSP / CISM / ISA/IEC 62443.
