POSITION CONTRACT: This position is for the 2023-24 school year. There are positions for 6.25 hours per day, 5 days per week during the school year. Pay starts at $16.00 / hour.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include: * Being qualified and certified as a paraprofessional.
- Demonstrating teamwork, cooperation, and a supportive attitude in working with district staff.
- Being a good communicator with various stakeholders at our school including administration, staff members, instructional aides, students and parents.
- Demonstrating a positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, and general agreeable nature when working with adults and students in a variety of roles.
- Demonstrating a willingness to take on a wide variety of tasks in assisting teachers prepare for instruction, supplementing instruction, supporting students, and other duties as assigned.
- Maintaining positive, professional relationships with students, parents, and all staff members.
- Ability to work well with all staff members, students and parents.
- Paraprofessional certificate
- Strong organizational and communication skills desired.
- Ability to present a positive and supportive attitude at all times.
