Verizon’s Consumer Wholesale organization plays a crucial role in how Verizon presents itself in the marketplace, enabling additional revenue streams and subscriber growth through consumer-focused MVNO distribution channels. Joining the Sales Operations and Enablement team, you will lead a team of Sr Analysts who manage the day-to-day Local Number Portability support for all Verizon Wireless resellers. In this role, you will engage in daily high-level collaboration with Wholesale MVNO customers, Syniverse, and internal cross-functional partners. You will serve as the strategic bridge across the organization, ensuring that initiatives, actions, and resources are meticulously aligned to drive the achievement of core business objectives. As a Senior Manager - Systems Analyst, you will:

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of Sr Analysts who are responsible for providing Local Number Portability support for Wholesale MVNO customers.
  • Executive Escalation Management: Serve as the primary operational point of contact and direct liaison for high-level LNP escalations from reseller executives.
  • Strategic Partnering: Build necessary internal relationships and communication networks among POD, Verizon Retail, Syniverse, MTAS, ETNI, and IT teams to resolve complex porting issues.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage the ticketing queue to ensure tickets are resolved within the timelines and expectations set with MVNOs.
  • Tool Development: Work with Syniverse, Verizon Retail, and IT teams to build the porting functionality necessary to have a clear line of sight of the porting journey from the perspective of two critical and strategic Wholesale MVNO customers.
  • Talent Development: Ensure hiring, training, and performance management are effectively executed to grow skills in accordance with strategic needs.
  • Crisis Management: Participate in a scheduled rotation of after-hours support to respond to service emergencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams and maintaining accountability for major business initiatives.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience in analyzing data to make appropriate process/business decisions and recommendations which shape business strategy.
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet timelines/milestones under deadline pressure

Nice-to-haves

  • Technical proficiency with Verizon systems MTAS, ETNI, and RSSx
  • Experience with the porting journey and with Syniverse
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access, and Google’s G Suite
  • Ability to understand and navigate the organizational landscape
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team with structured performance management coaching.
  • Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels and navigate the organizational landscape
