Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative/Sales Associate, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
• Working flexible shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays, to meet the needs of our customers
• Maintaining displays in presentable condition at all times and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers
• Building productive trust relationships with customers and driving sales through upselling and cross-selling
• Utilizing computer skills, including typing and computer use, to process transactions and manage customer information
• Maintaining a positive attitude at all times and being a team player
• Meeting sales targets and exceeding expectations through exceptional customer service and sales skills
• Participating in ongoing training and development to improve sales and customer service skills

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
• Comfortable on the computer, with typing and computer use skills
• Highly motivated and able to pick up tasks quickly after being shown
• Positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to drive sales

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly beneficial:

• Previous experience at The UPS Store (a HUGE plus!)
• Retail experience and knowledge of POS systems and Microsoft Office, especially Publisher
• Certified Notary Public (Preferred)
• Experience up-selling and cross-selling, with a proven track record of driving sales and exceeding targets
