Sr. Account Manager, Northeast Region

We are seeking a full-time Account Manager for the East Region to join our Residential Channel Sales team. In this role, you will drive sales growth for Powerwall, Tesla Inverter, and Tesla Solar PV through existing B2B value-added resellers, focusing on expanding demand for energy storage ecosystems in the residential market. Additionally, you will identify and onboard new contractors across New England (Maine to New York). This fast-paced position requires adaptability, strong B2B relationship management experience, and the ability to work remotely from a New England base near a major airport. Travel is a critical component of this role to nurture and evolve business relationships with B2B clients. The ideal candidate brings excellent communication skills, creativity, passion, and a proactive approach to a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support a portfolio of B2B accounts that sell and install Powerwall, solar inverters, and solar PV
  • Recruit and onboard new B2B accounts in the region
  • Work directly in partners' offices to support their organization, advocate on their behalf, and add value to grow their Powerwall business
  • Identify opportunities to drive additional volume for products
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to introduce new offers, ideas, and concepts to market
  • Partner with management to set ambitious goals and targets, and achieve them
  • Provide reliable forecasts and consistent tracking for executive teams

Requirements

  • Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in tech sales, with solar and storage experience preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of building growth pipelines and securing business
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with proven ability to scale new products and services
  • Experience building networks and strong relationships across all levels of an organization, both internal and external
  • Strong organization, communication, documentation, and presentation skills
  • Proven capacity to solve complex problems with minimal resources

Expected Compensation

  • Account Mgr - $140,000 - $210,000/annual salary

+ cash and stock awards + benefitsPay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
