Key Responsibilities
As a Bi-Lingual Cashier/Customer Service Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Operating the point of sale register efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns
- Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Managing front desk duties, including answering telephones, handling in-house radio communications, and performing miscellaneous job assignments
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, adhering to arenaflex's high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales goals, promote products, and enhance the overall customer experience
- Participating in ongoing training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in retail or customer service is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, colleagues, and management in a professional and courteous manner
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and returns
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move around the store as needed
Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in retail or customer service, particularly in a hardware store or similar environment
- Knowledge of hardware products and services, with the ability to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers
