Position Overview

As the Senior Director, Customer Growth – West Region, you will serve as a “player‑coach,” leading a high‑performing team of marketing strategists while personally engaging with our top 20 customers. Your mandate is to translate arenaflex’s strategic commitments into actionable growth plans that deliver measurable value for both our customers and the company. You will partner closely with regional sales leaders, act as the strategic voice of the customer within arenaflex, and champion the arenaflex Commitment across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with West Region leadership to define priority objectives across the customer portfolio, ensuring that both long‑term visions and near‑term tactics are clearly communicated to the Customer Marketing (CM) team.
  • Executive Partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with C‑suite marketing executives at the top 20 West customers, using deep insights into their business challenges to accelerate collaborative growth initiatives.
  • Business Planning Leadership: Own the West Region marketing business planning cycle, guaranteeing that the top 50 customers develop Beverage Strategies that sync with the FSOP Collaborative Business Planning process.
  • Sales Integration: Actively participate in sales routines, injecting a marketing perspective, and feeding back insights to ensure continuous alignment between sales and marketing on customer objectives.
  • Talent Acquisition & Development: Recruit, coach, and elevate Directors and Marketing Strategists, building bench strength and best‑in‑class capabilities that sustain long‑term growth.
  • Culture Champion: Model growth‑centric behaviors, foster an empowerment‑driven culture, and inspire individuals to achieve high performance while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.
  • Cross‑Regional Collaboration: Serve as the critical liaison between the West Region and arenaflex’s central Customer Value and Growth organization (based in Atlanta), ensuring seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA highly preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the CPG sector, with a strong emphasis on Foodservice, On‑Premise, or comparable Customer Marketing roles.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading and inspiring multi‑disciplinary teams to exceed growth targets.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans that drive revenue uplift for large, national accounts.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging senior executives and cross‑functional partners.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Hands‑on experience with collaborative business planning frameworks such as FSOP CBP.
  • Deep understanding of beverage market dynamics, including trends in retail, hospitality, and experiential venues.
  • Expertise in data‑driven decision making, analytics tools, and ROI measurement.
  • Track record of successful talent development, with mentorship experience at Director and senior manager levels.
  • Ability to travel 25‑30 % across the West Region, including key customer sites and internal arenaflex meetings.

Compensation, Perks & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $211,000 – $238,400 (adjusted for geography, experience, and expertise).
