Job Description

As a Part-Time Remote Typist/Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibility will be entering and updating data in our systems while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent typing speed, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. You'll assist with various clerical tasks, including organizing files, maintaining records, and ensuring that all data is inputted correctly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

* Data Entry and Management: Input, update, and maintain data in various databases and systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

  • Accurate Typing and Data Entry: Perform accurate typing and data entry tasks with a high degree of precision, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data Verification: Review and verify data to ensure consistency and accuracy, identifying and correcting errors as needed.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with other administrative and clerical tasks as needed, including organizing files, maintaining records, and communicating with team members.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed on time, and collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications:

* Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in data entry is a plus.

  • Experience: Proven experience in typing/data entry or administrative support, with a strong understanding of data management principles.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
  • Typing Speed: Excellent typing speed (50+ words per minute), with the ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency in fast-paced environments.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Remote Work: Comfortable working independently in a remote setup, with a strong understanding of remote work best practices.
  • Software Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Docs/Sheets, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
