Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist on our Operations team, you'll be responsible for:
- Entering client details such as name, date of birth, social security number, and address into our internal systems with precision and accuracy.
- Following documented procedures to compare and verify form data against system records, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Applying problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies efficiently, minimizing errors and maximizing productivity.
- Maintaining a processing rate of at least 4 items per hour, with flexibility to adjust for complexity and varying item types.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Typing Skills: Proficiency in typing with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute.
- Data Entry: Experience with data entry software and systems, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Financial Services: Knowledge of financial services and regulations, with a strong understanding of 401K account management.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in data entry or a related field, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree is not necessary.
