Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in managing the prescription needs of injured workers, ensuring efficient and accurate service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, inputting, and supporting claimant profiles in our pharmacy network, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with pharmacies, client adjusters, and claimants.
  • Assisting pharmacies in the adjudication of claimant medications, providing expert guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Coordinating and liaising with client adjusters, pharmacies, and claimants to ensure accurate assignment of medication benefits, resolving any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Supporting client needs regarding requirements for claimant medications, including reporting and data management, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Managing and updating client and claimant information in multiple systems, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Answering questions from claimants, adjusters, and pharmacies regarding medications, providing clear and concise information to ensure satisfaction and resolution.
  • Adapting to changing processes and needs of various clients, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Performing other duties as assigned, contributing to the success and growth of our team.

Requirements

To succeed as a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will need:

  • 3 years of related customer service or telephonic experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and multiple software systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills, including active listening and the ability to ask relevant questions.
  • Excellent written grammatical skills and understanding of proper telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.

Nice-to-Haves

While not required, experience in workers' compensation law and editing skills would be valuable assets in this role.
