Responsibilities

As a Research Design Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaboration and Alignment: Coordinate with teams and leaders within Network Planning and across Business Teams to ensure seamless cooperation and alignment on multiple initiatives and efforts.
• Data Analysis: Analyze complex schedules and datasets to uncover actionable insights for stakeholders, utilizing tools such as SQL, Access, Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx.
• Presentation and Communication: Develop high-quality, timely presentation materials to inform and influence Senior Leaders, leveraging robust visualizations to communicate complex data insights.
• Navigating Complexity: Navigate the intricacies of multiple teams and engagements, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Historical Analysis: Analyze historical profitability and performance metrics to gain insights into future performance, informing business decisions and strategic planning.
• Community Development: Contribute to the progressive development of community designs, connectivity structures, scheduling approaches, and other initiatives that enhance various work streams, including future fleet plans, forecasted facility needs, labor and staffing optimizations, operational viability simulations, and business opportunity assessments.
• Evaluation and Recommendations: Deliver evaluations and recommendations that demonstrate a deep understanding of the business challenge and its broader impact on the organization, communicating findings and insights to stakeholders through clear, actionable language.
• Communication and Storytelling: Communicate insights and results to branch and Commercial/Operational Leaders, using a communication approach that acknowledges the target audience and provides a clear path forward, leveraging data visualizations to tell the story behind the data.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Data Science, Operations Research, or a related field.

3+ years

of experience in a research, analysis, or consulting role, with a focus on data-driven insights and strategic decision-making.

Proven track record

of delivering high-quality, timely results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Excellent communication and presentation

skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving

skills, with the ability to navigate complex data sets and identify actionable insights.

Experience with data visualization tools

Familiarity with SQL, Access, Excel

Preferred Qualifications
