Customer Systems Team
The Customer Systems team at arenaflex is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Java Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping cross-functional teams across arenaflex execute new initiatives. You will work closely with our business leaders and various stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient software solutions. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy Java-based applications and services using Java and Java Enterprise Edition (EE) technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet those needs.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient software applications using Java, Spring, and other relevant technologies.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code meets arenaflex's coding standards and best practices.
- Work with data storage systems, including databases and data warehouses, to design and implement data access layers.
- Develop and maintain APIs and web services using REST and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that software applications meet arenaflex's security and compliance requirements.
- Participate in the design and development of large-scale, distributed systems and applications.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that software applications meet arenaflex's performance and scalability requirements.
- Participate in the development of artificial intelligence and machine learning models and systems.
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in designing and developing Java-based applications and services.
- Strong experience with Java, Java EE, Spring, and other relevant technologies.
- Experience with data storage systems, including databases and data warehouses.
- Experience with APIs and web services using REST and other relevant technologies.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS and Azure.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins and GitLab.
- Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning models and systems.
- Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop and Spark.
- Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements for software applications.

* Strong programming skills in Java and other relevant languages.
