Experienced Medical Data Entry Specialist – Healthcare Database Management and Customer Service

Job Summary:

As a Medical Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for updating and maintaining our healthcare databases, ensuring that customer and account information is accurate and up-to-date. You will also provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding promptly to their needs and requests. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong organizational and reconciliation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Update and maintain healthcare databases, including entering new and updated customer and account information

• Reconcile incoming census and request new lead information to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Enter new admissions into the CRM system and set them up as an account
• Send and receive mail and packages, update returned mail, and ensure timely delivery of important documents
• Update parent/home accounts with death and discharges, and notify relevant parties as needed
• Send and receive faxes and emails, and respond promptly to customer inquiries
• Perform other duties as assigned by management, including data entry, data analysis, and reporting

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

• Proficiency in arenaflex Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce.com
• 1-3 years of customer service experience with a service company preferred; experience in healthcare or a related field a plus
• Strong organizational and reconciliation skills, with the ability to prioritize and plan work activities effectively
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond promptly to customer needs and requests
• Quality control and attention to detail, with the ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in all work activities
• Adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and manage competing demands
• Dependability and reliability, with a strong commitment to being on time and following instructions
