Position Overview – Remote Enterprise Data Strategy Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated Remote Enterprise Data Strategy Analyst to join our Digital Risk Products & Data Strategy (RPDS) team within the Credit & Fraud Risk (CFR) organization. In this role, you will partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to design, develop, and operationalize data‑centric solutions that minimize credit and fraud risk while driving revenue growth across the customer lifecycle – from onboarding and underwriting to authorizations and collections.

This is a full‑time, remote position based in the United States (preferred candidates located in the Compton, CA area) with a competitive hourly compensation range of $25–$35.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Data Partnerships: Identify and nurture strategic data collaborations that accelerate business growth and enhance credit & fraud risk controls.
• End‑to‑End Lifecycle Support: Deliver data‑driven insights and rule‑based solutions across the entire customer journey – onboarding, underwriting, transaction monitoring, and collections.
• Data Quality & Governance: Conduct thorough assessments of data quality, integrity, and freshness; implement remediation plans to ensure reliable inputs for risk models.
• Analytics & Insight Generation: Analyze existing and emerging data sets to uncover actionable opportunities, improve model performance, and influence product roadmaps.
• Collaborative Model Development: Work closely with Product Owners, Compliance, Risk Strategy, Fraud Strategy, and Decision Science teams to design and validate predictive models.

Essential Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, and SAS; experience handling large‑scale data sets in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Domain Knowledge: Background in financial services, particularly within credit risk or fraud risk functions, is highly desirable.
