As a Senior Learning Data Analyst, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our employees by developing dashboards, presentations, analytics, and business insights that drive our education programs. You'll leverage advanced tools and techniques to integrate data from various sources, providing actionable insights to key stakeholders and measuring the effectiveness of our training initiatives.

Job Summary

As a Senior Learning Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining advanced data analytics solutions using tools like Alteryx, Tableau, and SQL
• Creating data visualizations and presentations to communicate insights to stakeholders
• Analyzing and mitigating risks associated with equipment and projects
• Supporting escalated and complex data troubleshooting for business customers
• Partnering with senior leaders to gain insights and measurements to inform business decisions
• Identifying strengths and weaknesses of potential solutions, conclusions, or processes to address problems
• Estimating the effort and cost of solutions
• Collaborating with the Business Intelligence Analyst to resolve issues and share expertise on tools and techniques

Responsibilities

* Apply expertise and customer needs assessment to create solutions that meet requirements

• Analyze and mitigate risks associated with equipment and projects
• Apply advanced expertise in data cleaning strategies and tools, including Alteryx, data visualization tools like Tableau, and other data analytics tools, to create insights that support data and visualization requests
• Apply advanced expertise in SQL, Python, or other reporting languages or tools, to create and maintain advanced solutions for reporting education data
• Support escalated and complex data troubleshooting for business customers
• Gather and interpret requirements to convert business needs into actionable data and present findings
• Partner with senior leaders to gain insights and measurements to convert business needs into actionable data presentation requirements
• Identify strengths and weaknesses of potential solutions, conclusions, or processes to address problems
• Understand and estimate the effort and cost of solutions
• Work with the Business Intelligence Analyst to resolve issues and share expertise on tools and techniques
• May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

* Ability to apply advanced tools to quickly understand and accurately define complex problems to systematically analyze and weigh options to recommend solutions

• Ability to work under stressful conditions and manage time effectively
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet departmental targets and goals
• Be a self-starter and able to work with a minimal amount of supervision to perform assignments and projects
• Understanding of Company policies (e.g., Appearance and Attendance) and expectations of SWA Culture
• Ability to work effectively independently or in a strong customer service and/or team environment
• Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as required
• Ability to work under tight time constraints and at times, in stressful conditions
• Ability to design and conduct analyses, as well as synthesize recommendations
• Ability to develop, present, and effectively communicate techniques and ideas to various audiences

Education

* Required: High School Diploma or GED

Experience

* Advanced level experience, with extensive expertise in: + Acquiring data using various tools, including: SQL, Python, Alteryx, Qlikm, Attunity, or other comparable toolsets + Visualization and presentation experience

• Preferred: Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Visual Basic)
• Preferred: Working experience in Air Operations training and Advance Qualification Program (AQP)
