Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Experience Agent, you'll be responsible for:

  • Fielding incoming customer service calls, taking ownership of resolving customer issues in a timely and accurate manner
  • Researching account status and identifying account issues to provide effective solutions
  • Addressing billing inquiries and resolving billing disputes to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Processing disconnection and re-connection requests with precision and efficiency
  • Enrolling customers and resolving enrollment issues to ensure seamless onboarding
  • Initiating collection activity on past due accounts and processing disconnection and re-connection requests as needed
  • Serving as a customer advocate while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies associated with the role

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required: Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for communicating effectively with our diverse customer base
  • Outstanding Phone Etiquette and Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent Listening Skills: The ability to listen attentively to customers, understand their concerns, and provide tailored solutions
  • Calm Demeanor in High-Pressure Situations: The capacity to remain composed and professional when dealing with agitated customers
  • Attention to Detail and Commitment to Quality: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
  • Strong Quantitative, Analytical, and Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to analyze complex issues, identify solutions, and implement process improvements
  • Proficiency in Windows Environment and MS Office Applications: Familiarity with Windows and MS Office applications, including Word and Excel
  • Comfort in a Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where change is commonplace

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • Minimum of 1 Year of Experience in an Inbound Call Center Environment: Previous experience in an inbound call center environment, with a focus on customer care
  • Experience within the Retail Electricity Industry: Familiarity with the retail electricity industry and its unique challenges and opportunities
  • Experience in Similar Markets: Experience in similar markets, such as utilities, telecom, or cable, can be beneficial in understanding the complexities of our industry
