Job Description

As a Customer Service & Sales Representative at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive relationship with our clients. You will be responsible for managing and assigning emails, processing invoices from suppliers, delivering customer invoices, receiving payments from customers, and running credit card transactions. You will also be responsible for managing high-volume phone calls from customers and vendors, providing verbal and email quotes to customers, communicating with vendors to confirm price and availability, and processing orders with vendors and confirming order acknowledgments.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and assign emails in a timely and efficient manner

  • Process invoices from suppliers and deliver customer invoices
  • Receive payments from customers and run credit card transactions
  • Enter tracking numbers into ERP and eCommerce websites
  • Manage high-volume phone calls from customers and vendors
  • Provide verbal and email quotes to customers
  • Communicate with vendors to confirm price and availability
  • Process orders with vendors and confirm order acknowledgments
  • Keep track of backorders and follow up with vendors and customers with ship dates
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly payments to vendors
  • Keep track of past-due invoices

Essential Qualifications

* 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, customer service, and sales

  • Excellent verbal, written, and typing skills
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized with a strong work ethic
  • Friendly and patient demeanor in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and eCommerce software
  • Experience with industrial equipment, supplies, filtration, or compressed air equipment is a bonus
  • Ability to maintain confidential financial documentation
  • Require minimal supervision to complete work and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a similar role at an industrial supply company

  • Knowledge of ERP and eCommerce software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and clients

Skills and Competencies

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and eCommerce software
  • Experience with industrial equipment, supplies, filtration, or compressed air equipment is a bonus
  • Ability to maintain confidential financial documentation
