Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer leaves the store feeling valued and satisfied.
  • Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment that meets arenaflex's high standards, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
  • Independently stocking shelves and recovering merchandise in the store, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and easily accessible to customers.
  • Accurately handling customer funds and processing transactions using the POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Remaining constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, reporting any incidents or concerns to management promptly.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including participating in visual merchandising, inventory management, and loss prevention initiatives.

Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned.
  • Previous experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred, but not required.
  • The ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs (and occasionally, up to 55lbs) from floor level to above shoulder height, with the ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • A flexible, full-time schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
