Job Summary

As a Database Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving normal database issues, performing calamity recovery tasks, and maintaining the integrity of our database. You will work closely with our data operations team to ensure that our database is up-to-date and accurate, and that we're able to make data-driven decisions with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

* Investigate and resolve normal database issues, including troubleshooting and debugging SQL queries and stored procedures

• Perform calamity recovery tasks, including restoring database backups and recovering lost data
• Maintain the integrity of our database, including performing regular backups and ensuring data consistency
• Develop and implement database performance tuning strategies to optimize query execution and improve system performance
• Collaborate with the data operations team to ensure that our database is up-to-date and accurate
• Develop and maintain database documentation, including data dictionaries and schema diagrams
• Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 4+ years of experience in database administration and analysis, with a focus on UPS data entry and operations
• Strong knowledge of database management systems, including SQL Server and MySQL
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with cloud-based database platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure

• Knowledge of database security and access control best practices
• Experience with database migration and integration tools, including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Strong scripting skills, including PowerShell and SQL
• Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau and Power BI
