Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Remote Online Chat Specialist to join our customer support team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for handling incoming customer support questions via live chat on businesses' websites and social media accounts. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues efficiently, and build strong relationships with our clients.

Responsibilities

As a Remote Online Chat Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
  • Evaluating customer interactions and elevating issues to the Online Chat Manager when appropriate
  • Creating relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs
  • Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately
  • Promoting interest in client products and services
  • Consistently achieving established standards of the position
  • Continually portraying and projecting a positive and professional image
  • Providing administrative support to the customer service team
  • May assist with overflow work and other duties as needed

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service, preferably in a remote or online environment
  • Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and software
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks at once and adapt to different personalities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
