Responsibilities
As a Chat Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about products and services, and narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments.
- Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review, summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review, and developing and maintaining a knowledge base of evolving products and services.
- Utilizing your excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Working collaboratively with our team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
To be successful as a Chat Specialist, you'll need:
- Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry is preferred but not necessary.
- Basic internet and window-based computer skills, including the ability to navigate multiple screens and applications simultaneously.
- Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple chats and tasks at once.
- A positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- A quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions, as this is a remote position.
Requirements
To apply for this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements:
- Have your own computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse.
- Live within the state listed in the posting (Corpus Christi, TX).
- Be able to attend 4 weeks of remote training, Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 11am-7:30pm EDT.
- Be able to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above being preferred.
