Responsibilities

As a Part-time Customer Support Representative – Chat, you will be responsible for engaging in online conversations with customers, representing our automotive dealer clients favorably. Your goal will be to turn conversations into leads that help our clients generate revenue. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat
  • Providing accurate information about the products and services via online chat
  • Narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments
  • Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review
  • Summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review
  • Developing and maintaining a knowledge base of the evolving products and services

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry is preferred but not necessary
  • Intermediate internet and window-based computer skills
  • Strong ability to multitask is preferred, gaming experience is helpful
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment

Requirements

In addition to the qualifications above, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment
  • Must be able to work 4-hour time blocks daily
  • Able to attend 4 weeks of training Tuesday – Saturday from 10AM – 6:30PM CST
  • Flexible scheduling after completion of training
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 16+ hours per week
  • Must be able to type at least 35 WPM, 40 and above is preferred
  • Positive and professional demeanor
