About the Role

As an IT Operations Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for managing local and/or remote resources and assisting the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience. You will own the strategies to create that experience and help the group develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues. You will also identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage local and/or remote resources to ensure seamless IT support for Amazon employees worldwide

• Assist the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience and own the strategies to create that experience
• Help the group develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
• Identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
• Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
• Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success

Essential Qualifications:

* 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations

• 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
• Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
• Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a cloud-based environment

• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and tools
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
