  • Weekend and holiday on-call (shared with the other veterinarians).

The clinical veterinarian will provide consultation to investigators, students, and research personnel, in animal model selection, managing / treating animal health issues, technical complications and unexpected adverse events, rodent breeding problems, breeding colony management. The clinical veterinarian will provide technical training to and assessment of investigators, students, research personnel, and other staff in animal care and handling and restraint procedures, anesthesia, aseptic surgical procedures, and euthanasia.
