Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Virtual Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. As a key member of our Guest Relations and Operations Support team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless communication across multiple platforms. If you're a highly skilled communicator with a passion for delivering top-notch customer service, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

As a Virtual Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to our guests via phone, email, and chat, ensuring a 5-star experience and achieving Superhost Status
  • Leveraging AI tools, such as ChatGPT, to create comprehensive guest messaging that resonates with our brand and travelers
  • Screening potential guests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Responding to guest inquiries and communicating with management via Slack
  • Achieving 5-star ratings and Superhost Status through exceptional customer service and issue resolution
  • Writing and responding to guest reviews on Airbnb, VRBO, and other platforms
  • Reporting maintenance and damage issues to Operations via Operto Teams
  • Reporting and submitting damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement
  • Building, managing, and reporting in-house maintenance labor
  • Working knowledge of business financials/accounting to assist with the onboard of accounting systems
  • Experience in 3rd party vendor relations for tertiary market management

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in the hospitality industry

  • Proficient in English, with excellent communication and grammar skills
  • Ability to speak clearly on the phone and use a VoiP to communicate with guests and vendors
  • Experience with Guesty and/or HostAI is a plus
  • Familiarity with AI tools, such as ChatGPT
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Availability and reliability in CST and Eastern United States time zones

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in 3rd party vendor relations for tertiary market management

  • Working knowledge of business financials/accounting to assist with the onboard of accounting systems
  • Experience with Operto Teams and Guesty Shield
