As a Data Entry Technician, you'll play a critical role in supporting our team's efforts, working remotely from the comfort of your own home.
Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Technician to join our Customs Brokerage team on a part-time basis (15-20 hours per week). As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, verifying customs documentation, and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
* Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
- Understand and identify customs documentation
- Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
- Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct
- Provide excellent customer service building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
- Ensure compliance at all times to regulations
- Daily execution of workflow and department metrics
Qualifications
* Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical
- Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with a high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Growth mindset, eager to learn and develop your skills
- Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics
Essential Skills and Competencies
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with customs documentation and regulations
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
