Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our pharmacy operations team, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing prescription orders, maintaining up-to-date patient records, and communicating with healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies and secure additional information. Key Responsibilities

* Accurately and efficiently enter prescription data, verify accuracy, and maintain up-to-date patient records while adhering to strict quality and compliance standards

• Communicate with healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies and secure additional information as needed
• Maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Utilize and troubleshoot pharmacy software and systems to optimize workflows
• Collaborate with pharmacists, providers, patients, and team members to ensure seamless communication and exceptional patient care
• Stay updated on industry best practices and maintain continuing education requirements

Requirements

* Active pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) and licensure in accordance with Virginia Board of Pharmacy requirements

• Commitment to maintaining continuing education and staying updated on industry best practices
• 1-2 years of experience in pharmacy or healthcare-related data entry, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency (preferred not required)
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to handle sensitive patient information responsibly
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain productivity benchmarks while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with pharmacists, providers, patients, and team members
• Proficiency in utilizing and troubleshooting pharmacy software and systems to optimize workflows
• Familiarity with 503A or 503B compounding workflows, or experience in data entry for specialty pharmacies (preferred not required)
