The Nursing Internship Program is designed to provide nursing students the opportunity to gain hands on experience in areas within the nursing field outside of hospital bed-side patient care. During the experience you will get exposure to patient care needs through the healthcare continuum, enrichment opportunities such as the Day in the Life of a Nurse Series, Enterprise Foundations, networking, and student cohort connections. The Nursing Summer Internship Program is full-time, 40 hours per week for 10 weeks starting June 2, 2026. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely

• from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities: As a Nurse Intern with the United Clinical Services team, you will work under the supervision of experienced RNs and clinical leaders to observe and participate in the following:

• Identify and communicate opportunities to optimize policies, processes, and performance
• Participate in data analysis to identify opportunities and validate assumptions
• Observe and/or draft recommendations for improvement to leadership based on current and future end-to-end processes and criteria
• Learn how to track, trend and represent assessment findings, gaps, deficiencies, and risks in current process or patient care
• Provide input and clinical expertise to business leaders to inform process and performance improvement
• Serve as a key resource to provide explanation and information about findings, including complex/critical issues
• Learn and evaluate appropriate application of nationally recognized clinical guidelines
• React swiftly to challenges, changes in priority, ambiguity and uncertainty effectively
• Confidence to participate in building and strengthening customer relationships and finding better ways to meet customer needs

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an accredited RN Bachelor's Degree program, with graduation expected within 12 months of the internship start date (before or after)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the duration of the summer internship program (from June 2 - August 7)
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
• Ability to work remotely, within a designated workspace with access to high-speed internet via cable/DSL in home setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of clinical terminology
