Job Overview

In this role, you will have the opportunity to "wow" our pet-parent clients and colleagues with exceptional customer care, handling prescription approvals for veterinary medication, and providing support to our veterinary partners. As a Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for resolving client issues, explaining order requests, and maintaining a high level of quality through data entry and order processing of veterinary pharmacy orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate directly with veterinary clinics to coordinate prescription approvals, resolve client issues, and clarify order requests
  • Analyze and troubleshoot to determine suitable solutions for clients and center partners, and follow up as needed to resolve issues
  • Complete data entry of prescriptions into arenaflex healthcare software
  • Maintain a high level of quality through data entry and order processing of veterinary pharmacy orders
  • Work with empathy, undivided attention, patience, compassion, and kindness to clients and partners alike
  • Collaborate with a willingness to learn, sharing feedback and being open to growth and development
  • Communicate with veterinary clinics via phone (and occasionally other channels as needed) on various subjects, primarily using our internal program and systems to navigate solutions and record center note accounts

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening), the ability to multitask, and a strong attention to detail. You should be a self-starter, work with ownership, and be able to adapt to change according to the business needs of the organization.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
  • Ability to multitask (e.g., chat on the phone while navigating on the computer and taking notes)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy where applicable
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule and work overtime as needed by the specialty unit

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field
  • Knowledge of veterinary medication and pharmacy operations
  • Experience with data entry and order processing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
