As a Manager State & Higher Education, you'll be part of this team, working closely with Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to achieve our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
As a Manager State & Higher Education at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:
- Coaching and professionally developing Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to achieve sales growth and establish formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts.
- Identifying and hiring a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry, and onboarding and training them to provide exceptional service to our corporate customers.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including State, Local, and Higher Education officials, to promote arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services.
- Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales, expand our customer base, and enhance our market share.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business objectives and initiatives.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of the managed travel industry, including State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to coach and develop others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment.
- Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services, including our corporate travel programs and services.
- Familiarity with arenaflex's business operations and strategies.
- Experience working with State, Local, and Higher Education officials, or in a similar industry.
