Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to pet-parent clients and colleagues, handling prescription orders for veterinary medicine, and performing data entry tasks with high accuracy. As a key member of the arenaflex team, you will be expected to work collaboratively with veterinary facilities to resolve client issues, explain order requests, and provide timely follow-up on a case-by-case basis. Key Responsibilities:

  • Connect directly with veterinary facilities to negotiate prescription orders, resolve client issues, and explain order requests
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues to determine appropriate solutions for clients and center partners, and follow up on a case-by-case basis to resolve issues
  • Complete data entry of prescriptions into arenaflex healthcare software with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain a high level of quality through data entry and order processing of veterinary pharmacy orders
  • Work with empathy, undivided attention, patience, compassion, and kindness to clients and partners alike
  • Communicate effectively with veterinary facilities via phone (and occasionally other channels on a case-by-case basis) using internal programs and systems to navigate solutions and record center note accounts
  • Expect a significant portion of the typical business day to be outbound veterinary center/client phone contacts

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 2 years of experience working in a customer or healthcare-focused environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
  • Ability to multitask (e.g., chat on the phone while navigating on the computer and taking notes)
  • Work with ownership, be a self-starter, and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy where applicable
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt to change according to the business needs of the organization
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule and work overtime as needed by the specialty unit
  • Must demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
  • Must be able to pass a background check
