Job Description and Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to incoming calls related to student inquiries, scholarship application, and funding status to ensure that all questions are answered, and callers are satisfied.
  • Providing exceptional customer service experience by delivering accurate and timely information, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring that students are registered for the scholarship program.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • At least one year of customer service or call center experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • English proficiency, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to focus on delivering an excellent customer service experience.
  • Strong empathy, personability, and compassion, with the ability to remain calm and composed in difficult or tense situations.
  • Self-motivation, detail-orientation, and the ability to multitask, with accurate typing and keyboard skills, and comfort with PC/internet navigation.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

  • Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of scholarship programs, education, or nonprofit organizations, with a passion for helping people and making a positive impact.
