Key Responsibilities:

As a Part-Time Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and processing customer requests for technical assistance through our ticketing system
  • Opening and submitting tickets for review by our Help Desk technicians
  • Reviewing and updating ticket status, ensuring timely closure and exceptional customer service
  • Communicating with customers via email to provide updates and resolve issues
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions
  • Collaborating with the Help Desk team to ensure seamless customer support

Essential Qualifications:

* Previous experience in I.T. Help Desk ticketing or online customer service for a technology company or busy online retailer

  • Excellent typing skills (at least 40 wpm) and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and customer service software

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software

  • Knowledge of Help Desk ticketing systems and customer service best practices
  • Certification in customer service or technical support
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
