About the Role

In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing customer queries and complaints, processing orders and modifications, and escalating issues across multiple communication channels. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Communicating with customers through various channels, including phone, email, and chat
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints in a fair and professional manner
  • Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests accurately and efficiently
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary to ensure seamless customer support
  • Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process and suggesting improvements
  • Managing a team of junior customer service representatives and providing guidance and support as needed

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Must live in the state of Oklahoma full-time
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience in a highly transactional call center environment, with a strong focus on customer service
  • Excellent customer service and critical thinking skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • High-speed internet access (25 mbps or higher) and a consistent connection
  • A dedicated work location with a direct connection to the router (NOT Wi-Fi)
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Previous experience in a remote work environment, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Knowledge of claims research and payment processes, with the ability to assist providers with payment questions
  • Experience with customer service threshold frameworks, with the ability to make financial decisions to resolve member issues
