About the Role

arenaflex's Patient Billing Customer Service department is seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Customer Service Support Representatives. As a key member of our Revenue Cycle Management Division, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through innovation and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

  • Answer a high volume of inbound calls (80+ per day) from patients, doctor's offices, and private insurance carriers, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries and concerns.
  • Initiate payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, ensuring a smooth and efficient process that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations.
  • Utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain performance goals and consistently strive for improvement, leveraging feedback and coaching to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Become proficient in our processes and systems after completing a comprehensive training program, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of 1+ year of work experience in a related field (e.g., medical billing, customer service, insurance claims, EOB, call center).
  • Previous experience in a high-volume call environment with multiple computer windows open is highly desirable, as is experience interacting with patients regarding medical information.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to patients and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in navigating multiple computer screens and applications, with alpha-numeric data entry proficiency and excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in medical billing, customer service, or a related field, with a strong understanding of healthcare operations and patient billing processes.
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a dedicated area to perform duties without interference and a structured approach to managing time and tasks.
  • Internet download speed of at least 50 megabytes per second connectivity, with a reliable and secure internet connection.

Compensation and Benefits
