Responsibilities

As a Support Chat Agent, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional support to clients through our online chat platform. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with clients through live chat, providing friendly and professional support, and responding to their inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Answering questions related to our services, appointment scheduling, and general mental health information, ensuring that clients feel informed and supported.
  • Documenting client interactions and maintaining accurate records of chats, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration with our administrative and clinical teams.
  • Identifying and escalating complex issues to appropriate team members when necessary, to ensure that clients receive the support they need.
  • Working collaboratively with the administrative and clinical teams to improve the overall client experience, and to develop strategies for enhancing our services and policies.
  • Staying up-to-date with our services and policies, to provide accurate information to clients and to contribute to the development of FAQs and knowledge base articles to streamline support.
  • Contributing to the development of FAQs and knowledge base articles to streamline support, and to ensure that clients have access to accurate and relevant information.

Requirements

To be successful as a Support Chat Agent, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Previous experience in customer service, support, or a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely, and to engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • An empathetic and compassionate approach when dealing with clients' inquiries and concerns, and a commitment to providing exceptional support and care.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly under pressure, and to identify and escalate complex issues to appropriate team members when necessary.
  • Proficiency in using chat software and other computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • The ability to manage multiple chats and prioritize tasks efficiently, to ensure that clients receive timely and accurate support.
  • A high school diploma is required, and further education in psychology or related fields is a plus.
